Unrefined Red Palm Oil, with it's dark reddish hue contains some of the highest amount of Vitamin E (tocotrienols) found in oils. This oil is a powerhouse for beneficial carotenoid and antioxidants. It is said to be the highest natural source of beta carotene, which converts into Vitamin A.

It is popularly used in haircare to promote hair growth, and in West African countries is traditionally used on babies skin to keep it soft and supple.

This product can stain clothes and linen, if there is direct contact before being absorbed into the skin.

I added this to one of my products, smooth and silky. However, do not forget it stains.

Yes, that is true! Just a little amount of it mixed with a more neutral oil or butter to keep if from staining. It is such an effective oil, that even at a rate of about 3% it makes a huge difference. This is hands down one of my favourite oils. I love to formulate with it in replacement of Rosehip oil when I want to create a more budget friendly formula!
