Sodium Hydroxide Flakes

R 80.00

Please note that when soaps are well-formulated, there is no lye left in soaps after saponification is complete (average 24 - 48 hours).

NaOH Flakes

I am not so keen on these flakes; they take longer to dissolve and tend to stick to the side of my container.
They are also awkward to weigh out as they clump together easily.

Hi,
You need to stir them until they dissolve. If you leave them alone, after mixing with water, they will stick to the bottom of your bowl. Alternatively you may the Sodium Hydroxide Pearls.

My soap was so good and considering I'm a beginner,

Works really effectively!

I was so impressed with this product, it's more affordable than our usual brand so I was abit weary but it performed much better than the one we usually use.
