Buttermilk & Honey  Bath Soak Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 50% Buttermilk Powder (nourishes and gently exfoliates)
  • 25% Epsom Salt (relaxes muscles and detoxifies)
  • 15% Baking Soda (softens skin and balances pH)
  • 7% Honey Powder (adds hydration and natural humectant properties)
  • 3% Essential Oil (optional, for fragrance and relaxation) - lavender and eucalyptus are my go to for relaxation and easing tired muscles.

Instructions:

  1. Weigh each ingredient according to your total batch size. (For example, for a 1000g batch, use 500g buttermilk powder, 250g Epsom salt, etc.)
  2. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly in a bowl.
  3. If using essential oils, add them slowly and stir well to evenly distribute.
  4. Store in an airtight container.
  5. To use, add ½ to 1 cup (or approximately 100-150g) to warm bathwater, stir to dissolve, and soak for 20 minutes.

This recipe combines the skin-softening properties of buttermilk with the deep hydration of honey powder, creating an ultra-nourishing bath soak.
